This class covers transferring laser printed images, photos or magazine pages onto a gelli plate using acrylic paint. Participants will learn to apply a thin paint layer, place the image for transfer, and use a pick up layer. Then we will build the image, rolling different colours and using stencils and marks to add texture to our final print.

On display from February 2-March 27/26 in the Marianne van Silfhout Gallery is located in St. Lawrence College's Brockville campus. Hours are Tuesday - Friday, 10-8 pm, Monday & Saturday, 10 -4 pm. Step into the untamed beauty of the North with Great Canadian Wild, a dynamic group exhibition featuring 14 talented local painters and photographers. This collection celebrates the spirit of Canada’s wilderness—its wildlife, landscapes, and the rich interplay between imagination and reality.
From sweeping vistas and rugged terrain to intimate encounters with creatures of the wild, each work invites viewers to reconnect with the awe and mystery of nature. Some pieces capture the raw truth of the land, while others offer dreamlike reimaginings that blur the line between the real and the fantastical.
Together, these works highlight the diversity of perspectives and styles that thrive within our community of artists, reminding us of the profound connection we share with the natural world
